The Reef Restoration Painting is an international collaboration between Dennie Boxem and the Reef Restoration Foundation. The RRF grows and re-plants coral to regenerate damaged high-value coral reefs and is supported by scientist from James Cook University’s TropWATER and Reef Ecologic.

Painting a coral on Boxems painting in Zwolle, The Netherlands, means one coral will be planted by the RRF in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia!

Painting one coral costs $50,- AUD (€31,96) and will directly go to the RRF. Every participant gets a certificate of their own piece of coral in their email.

The Reef Restoration Painting was released on the 10th of October 2022, the Dutch National Day of Sustainability.
